What is Therapy?
Scope of Therapy
We employ stronger areas of a dyslexic's brain to process, store, and recall linguistic information. This is done through a series of cognitive, multi-sensory exercises. Think of it as physical therapy to learn language. It is language therapy that occurs in a specific order, proven to accomplish lasting mastery of the foundations of reading, writing, spelling, listening and speaking. Success is measured by a student's proficiency and independence. It is based on the methods developed by Dr. Samuel T. Orton and Anna Gillingham, successfully used in dyslexia remediation for the past 80 years.
